Onchain Threat Protection

Definition
a feature of ODR systems that refers to their ability to provide continuous monitoring of contracts, tokens, and unmanaged wallets. This monitoring is usually done through onchain analysis, and is aimed at detecting and responding to threats promptly.
Description

Blockchain environments are highly adversarial, with threats emerging regularly. Onchain threat protection solutions, such as Blockaid’s ODR, provide comprehensive protection by continuously scanning for suspicious behavior, unauthorized access, and vulnerabilities in real-time.

For example, an onchain threat protection system might detect abnormal transaction patterns from a wallet interacting with a compromised contract. The system can then block the transaction or alert the user before funds are lost. This level of protection is critical in decentralized environments, where there are no centralized authorities to intervene when something goes wrong.
